Want what God wants
Questions:
1. What stood out to you in the message?
2. Have you ever misunderstood what someone was saying to you or asking you to do? How did it play out? Were you able to accomplish what they were saying?
3. In Nehemiah 5, what is the outcry from the people about? What is Nehemiah’s response?
4. In what ways have you seen those with money and power oppress or take advantage of those who without?
5. Nehemiah shows us that loving God and others may require personal sacrifice. What privileges and rights Are you ready to give up so that God’s work may prosper? When have your beliefs really cost you something?
6. Pastor Chad spoke about the direction that the church will be going and who we will strive to become for God. What is God calling you to do follow this movement of God in our church?
