What to do if you’re bitten by a snake

Acts 28:1-6

1. What stood out to you in the message?
2. Have you ever been in a life-threatening situation? If so, how did you react to it?
3. God wanted Paul to reach Rome and testify in front of Caesar (Acts 23:11). How did God orchestrate this to happen? Why do you think He allowed the events of Acts 27-28?
4. How do you see Acts 1:8 still being carried out in these events?
5. How has Jesus used crisis/disaster/difficulty in your life for ministry? What did you learn from this?
6. Paul endured a storm at sea. In terms of a weather report, how would you describe your life at present? Your life five years ago?
7. Pastor Chad said that people see Jesus in the faith that we have in the midst of our circumstances. Paul reacted with calm, guidance, hope, and thanks. In comparison, how do you react to crisis?
