2. What marriage relationship have you admired? Why have you admired it? What was special about their relationship?
3. When “submit” is used in the New Testament, it is voluntary in nature. How is this different from our modern interpretations of the word?
4. Based on 1 Peter 3:1-7 and Ephesians 5:22-33, what is the role of a wife and the role of a husband in a healthy marriage relationship? What does a marriage built on voluntary submission and godly consideration look like?
5. Read Matthew 5:27-30. In regard to temptation, Jesus uses a hyperbole (exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally used to make a point) to teach about temptation. What do you think He is teaching in this passage?
6. 1 Peter 3:1-7 condemns the showing of wealth through what we wear. How would this apply to today’s followers of Jesus? How should we adorn ourselves?
