1. What stood out to you in the message?

2. What bothers you most about paying taxes? Why?

3. Money is a touchy topic, but 2 Corinthians 9 tells us that God loves a cheerful giver. How can you be cheerful in your giving to His work?

4. What excuses have you or do you use to give less to God’s work rather than giving more? What needs to change in your life to change this?

5. Pastor Chad said that “Godly living requires sacrificial giving”. Have you ever thought about giving back to God as being a trust issue? Do you trust God with the money that He is has blessed you with? How are you demonstrating that trust to Him, or do you need to demonstrate that trust to Him?

6. Pastor Chad used the illustration of giving someone $100 and asking for $10 back to show how God provides and then asks us to give a portion back for His kingdom work. Does this change your perspective on what the purpose of the tithe is? How?

7. How would God’s kingdom work be affected if we trusted God more with tithing? How would this community be affected if we trusted God more with tithing? What is God calling you to trust Him with?

8. What is keeping you from reaching the level of generosity and giving that God is calling you to be at? What needs to happen in order to get to that level?
