In-person Services will resume on Sunday, February 7th

We’re excited to announce that we are re-opening our campus and beginning in-person services again. In-person Services will resume on Sunday, February 7th. We are looking forward to seeing you again, but if you are over the age of 65, have a compromised immune system, are feeling sick, are vulnerable to the coronavirus, or are simply not comfortable meeting in-person yet, please be blessed in staying home. We will continue to offer our online services as we have for the last few months with no changes to their availability.

For those who are comfortable meeting in-person again, we will offer both our 9:30am Classic Service in the Worship Center and our 11am Modern Service in the Fellowship Hall. As according to local mandates, we will continue to require masks and social distancing. Also, no groups will be meeting for now, just the worship services, which is a great reason to get involved in one of our many online Community Groups

We know and understand that some of you want to know why we are waiting so long, some of you are wandering why we are moving so fast to reopen our campus, while most of you are somewhere in between, and that’s okay. It’s okay to disagree on this complex issue, but we are united through the love and sacrifice of Jesus. In light of that, let’s live out the mission of First Southern:  “to lead every generation to the life-changing hope of Jesus.” In doing so, continue to show others love, patience, and grace in this time.

We look forward to seeing you in-person or online.

Leading every generation to the life-changing hope of Jesus

Stay tuned for opportunities to serve our community in the days ahead – make sure to follow us on social media (links below). Let’s be wise but courageous. Let’s respond to our watching world with the loving care of Christ. And let’s always be ready to give an answer to those who ask why we have hope.
