More Monty at FSBCS through Jan 14th

Continuing into January, please come prepared to be blessed with sermons brought by our guest speaker, Monty Patton.  Monty is the Send North America: Phoenix City Coordinator for the North American Mission Board.

Monty will be sharing with us in 2018 on Sunday, January 7th  & January 14th (both Classic & Modern services).  Monty most recently preached at First Southern for 3 weeks in December and also on August 13th.

Biography for Monty Patton

In 1996, Monty Patton moved his family from Oklahoma to the Valley to start Mountain Ridge Baptist Church. In the last 21 years, Mountain Ridge has grown to over 700 in attendance and has been part of 21 church plants in Phoenix. Mountain Ridge has been a consistent leader in Arizona in baptisms and missions for many years. Monty resigned as pastor on October 1, 2017 to focus on church planting in Phoenix and Tucson with the North American Mission Board.

Monty has been married to his bride Nancy for 32 years, has 2 daughters both of which work for Grand Canyon University, 1 Son in Law that is a church planter and soon to be 2 grandchildren.

Monty received his bachelors at Oklahoma Baptist University, Masters from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Doctorate at Trinity Theological Seminary.
